Mariposa Kids' After-School Program is a free-play centered program that brings together an average of 22 kids in the hours after school. During this program, children experience exploration-based programming where they are able to partake in activities that include art projects, science experiments, reading, sports, outdoor play, homework help, and so much more.
Programming for our Bernal location only provides pick up from Dolores Huerta Elementary. Our staff pick up children from Huerta Elementary and bring them to a Noe Valley Rec Playground. We provide a first snack and then approximately 90 minutes of outdoor play. We walk to our Clubhouse at 3361 Mission Street for additional indoor activities. A second snack is served at 5:15pm and final pick-up for all children is 6pm.
Our After-School Program occurs on every SFUSD school day. Holiday Camps are available on select SFUSD school closure days for an additional fee.
Participants must be entering grades transitional kindergarten to 5.
Registration starts on 03/19/2026 and ends on 04/30/2027.
Participants may register at any time during this period.
